Monday, May 23, 2011 9:06:28 AMA revised question-and-answer document addressing application of prevailing wage law to public works contracts has been posted to the GSD webpage. Prepared in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Industry's Labor Standards Bureau Wage and Hour Unit, the Q&A answers questions concerning what type of contracts are subject to prevailing wage requirements, the 3% rate increase for contracts longer than 30 months, and where to find additional information.
In addition to the Q&A, revised contract language is included in Section 6 of both the Standard Contract and IT Contract. Both contracts have been reposted to the RFP Process section of the webpage.
