The General Services Division (GSD) of the Montana Department of Administration is making improvements to the streets adjacent to Capitol Square to improve traffic flow, campus feel, multimodal accommodations, and parking efficiency. The project includes the following new traffic patterns:
These new traffic directional changes will allow for additional angled stall parking on streets surrounding the Capitol. Dedicated bike lanes will also be on the one-way segments of Lockey Avenue and East 6th Avenue, opposite of the angled parking.
These improvements will provide the following benefits:

There will be informational materials available for review, and the project team will be available to answer questions.
